Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ? I personally would take the BRZ, mainly because you can get things like heated seats and automatic climate control. I think I like the face of the FR-S more though... So tough to decide which one I like better!

I like the BRZ's headlights and fenders, but the GT-86 has a nicer bumper.

I have an FR-S. I prefer its front bumper, but I do like the BRZ's headlights.

I actually like the fact that my FR-S has a fairly basic stereo and climate controls. It seems to suit the car's simple, fun loving nature.

The BRZ will most likely hold its value better because Subaru. Also, it doesn't seem as cheap or youth oriented as the FR-S. Lastly,

This ad right here has made me hate the FR-S

If you absolutely made me pick, it would be the BR-Z.

However, if I'm buying a Subaru, it's a WRX or bust.

I chose the FR-S for a few reasons.

1. The interior is more bare bones. I find that the mare gadgets a car has, the quicker the interior ages. Any gadgets I need (for the most part) can happen on my phone

2. Styling. I couldn't really get behind the BRZ mustache

3. There are a lot of "bros" around me that drive subarus, I wanted to distance myself from that a bit.

4. Price. I mostly went with the FR-S because the foreign co-worker who was denied a work visa renewal was not selling a 3 month old BRZ for $5k off the new price :)

My friend very recently made this decision. I swung him towards BRZ.

Subaru will be rarer and thus worth more. Just swap the front bumper! Maybe the headlights too.

The Subie, because the front looks like it's doing >:D and the Scion looks like it's D:<

Also I've been spoiled by my luxobarges and have to have certain standards of creature comforts.

BRZ, because Subaru actually makes the thing.

Get a genesis coupe. More power, all the creature comforts you'll ever need, better performance etc

I bought the BRZ for a few reasons.

-World Rally Blue

-HIDs (the cool "boomerang" lights are a plus as well)

-GPS (my phone tends to lose GPS signal or crash at the most inopportune times)

-The BRZ rides better, IMO. The rear shocks felt under-damped for the springs on the FR-S. The BRZ's slightly softer rear springs were a better match for the factory shocks.

-Tougher seat material. I have the "premium" without the heated seats and leather, and whatever these seats are made out of feels incredibly tough.

-I got the BRZ for slightly less than I could get an FR-S thanks to VIP pricing. Pretty much made it a no brainer for me.

BRZ because (listed most influence to least)

1) I like the front fascia better
2) World Rally Blue (and that dark blue)
3) It gives off a more mature vibe personally and I hate the disdainful looks people give me when I look immature due to objects. (Being a teen doesn't help.)
4) I just kinda like the idea of owning a Subaru over a Toyota/Scion.
