ONE OF MY FAVORITE PICTURE EVER ON THE INTERNETS!!

And I do believe the answer is no. The only AWD versions were Evos or later the Ralliarts (Exo X lite).

The current gen lancers can be had with AWD and no turbo. The sportback is only available now with an NA motor and AWD.

Lancer[edit]

The Lancer model 2012 in North America is available with the AWC system. It was first introduced in 2012 on the Lancer SE and for 2013, it is available on both the SE and the GT models. The Lancer AWC models are equipped with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) and the GT has paddle shifters simulating 6 speeds. They have the 2.4 liter Mivec engine producing 168 bhp @ 6000 rpm and 167 lb.ft torque @ 4100 rpm.

The IV is nice but I will always want a V. It was sex and my first introduction to the Evolution line

See the IV was my first introduction. Not sure why, but I have always like the looks of them better. The V and VI are mean as hell looking, but the IV just does something more for me.

Hey, don't sell the Mirage short. On a conference call now, but could discuss these all day.

Buddy had one. Horrible, horrible car.

I wouldn't say horrible. The 1.8 manual versions are pretty decent. I would not feel safe carrying my kids around in one though. Horrible safety ratings.

And they are pretty tough. I beat the shit out of my first Mirage, which was a 1.5 liter automatic transmission, and it ran well after all I put it through.

I am REALLY thinking of trying to find a swapped 4th generation Mirage so I can do an Evo III clone. I know of a couple right now, but unfortunately I am not ready to buy.

I'd love to do an AWD trans on a more boring engine for commuting MPGs in the snow, but an EVO look would be cherry on top.

Then just buy an old Expo. They came AWD.

I actually did test drive an expo earlier this year, but have only found auto ones, and even for a commuter I can't bring myself to do it. But... if the Expo had come wiht sliding doors I'd have been sold, that would be an ideal mini-mini-van
