After going through various components that are known to leak boost, running clutch adaptation on my DSG, fiddling with my ignition, my Stage II GTI was still hesitating badly at WOT across most of the rev range. What fixed this? Clearing all engine fault codes. ECM communications error. Car is fine now. Uggggghh Volkswagen.

I love Rovers too. Basically I enjoy hurting myself as much as possible.

My god. Rovers and VWs? I do MGs and VWs which is pretty weird but VWs and Rovers is way too kinky for me....

It's about time you learned that all you need to do to fix a problem is clear the codes. Don't even bother to read them. Just hit erase and file it away in the same part of your memory as that incident where you and your sister made out. Problem. Solved.

My B6 advised me to watch for snow accumulations this morning. It's 60 and clear as a bell outside.

Yes, just in case my jackstand somehow topples. I'd rather lose a wheel than my face.

Good to know. I was just asking because I am about to get some jackstands to work on my suspension replacement shortly. I will take my steelies (because why crush an alloy right?) and put them underneath in order to save my bacon should something bad happen.
