In browsing for cars on gocar.be I've found them ranging in price from €30k to €200k. *drool*

They've increased insanely the last 10 years or so. Several hunderts percents ! I remember one day I went to see one at a small local Renault dealer and this pristine example didn't even cost €15k.

Argh!@ I blame Gran Turismo. I didn't know what one of these was until I played that infernal video game. Wondering if the drivetrain (especially the 1100 or 1600cc motor) can be swapped into a Floride.

Wouldn't surprise me. They've been exported to Japan a lot as well in the '90s, great subculture over there which probably didn't help either.

Same goes for the AE86 and Initial D.

Your Belgian, right? Speak French? French magazine Gazoline (if I remember correct) did a great special about increased values of classic cars last summer and, if I remember correct again, the Alpine A110 was the one of the winners when it came to increasing value.

I'm American and speak English and enough French to get by; moving to Belgium for work.

Ah, well good luck: Belgium is awesome. Especially Antwerp, Gent and Bruxelles. Lovely people, you'll have a blast!
