I promised that my car wouldn't turn into a beater but it doesn't seem to listen.

My brake master cylinder is probably going out, which makes braking in hot weather interesting. That's going to get replaced this week. The trunk is leaking (would explain why my rego papers melted into goo) over the winter but the really badly worn weatherstripping around my windows held up surprisingly well. Probably a clogged drain somewhere.

Since I learned stick in this car, it naturally suffered from a case of "OH SHIT SHIT NO I NEED MORE THROTTLE!" that rears its head while the car is reversed up hill. Unfortunately, the designers in their typical designer state-of-mind decided there was nothing wrong with giving the car a super-low one-piece nose that scrapes on 99% of all environments including parking lot curbs and I've got two broken tabs.. I've got a fix for that using some sheet metal and rivets. It will at least draw attention away from the dimples on both fenders, gifts from a previous owner.

Oh, did I mentioned that I curbed a wheel? At least I managed to repair the damaged exhaust pipe. I promise to give it a full detail with clay and wax after the bumper issue is taken care of. Also a full write-up at some point.

Rebuilding should be easy, right? I'll just do what the TV guys do: throw (and destroy) perfectly good parts on the ground, shout at the other mechanics, act like a spoiled child, and rush-job everything. What could possibly go wrong?

Lol my car the same. I tried to get a start on repairing some of the none essentials this summer like the horn and the seats...but then I realized I couldn't stop and needed new brakes. So I did that. Now I need a new suspension....(struts, springs, shocks) so I am doing that next. I guess the seats aren't getting done.

Third-gen Integra. It hasn't been stolen, so I've got that going for me.
