I've seen all of these Facebook posts saying "it's not national BBQ day." Well you know what? Because of the men and women that have sacrificed themselves for our country, we have a day where we can get together with those that we love and have some meat. I mean what are we supposed to do throw a pity party for ourselves? Hell no!
To my fellow Opponauts who are serving in our armed forces, who have served, or who have lost a loved one that payed the ultimate sacrifice. To you all I thank. Hope you enjoy this day with those you love.

Here! Here! I think our fallen heroes and comrades would be pleased we're having fun in their honor!

They didn't die for people to mope around they died to preserve people's right to live how they please.

As an Airman, I know that any of my military friends would rather that people had a beer and some meat in their honor than mope around all day.

There's such a thing as lite hot dogs? Wouldn't it be better to just eat half of a proper hot dog if you want to lose weight.

Yeah I would agree with you there. Eating a lite hot dog cooked over charcoal on memorial day is like some kind of crime.

That is some beautiful lookin' meat, dude.
And yes—to all the Opponauts who have served, thank you.

What kind of monster would waste charcoal on such shitty food.

"I didn't watch my buddies die face down in the muck just for you to buy gluten-free hot dog buns!"
