Assetto Corsa multiplayer is finally here...well has been here for a couple of weeks now. The issue lies within the fact that there are an abismal number of US players racing or hosting servers. This is where you and I come in.

With a goal of setting up an Assetto Corsa League if the circumstances are right, ie there is enough interest and people I'd like you to join me. There seems to be a lack of US based leagues. That isn't to say I don't want to race some "internationals" but thier Ping is just way too damn high.

From a previous post:

"If you have not looked into it yet or have not even heard of Assetto Corsa let me give you a brief overview. Assetto Corsa is a new racing sim that you can buy on steam as an "early access" game, essentially it's a beta. A very well done beta. Over the years I have tried IRacing, GTR2, Rfactor2, Rfactor and many more. AC, in my opinion, is the best overall sim racing physics I have had a chance to put my hands on. I realize this is all personal opinion and preference and I'll admit I have not tried IRacing for over a year in which time has had significant updates however the game is worth a try if you have not. Want to graduate from Forza or Gran Turismo? Give this is a try and let me know if you want to join an Oppo League.

Now go watch the video, buy it, and signup."

Let me know if you want to join and when would be a good time to race on a weekly basis. All tracks, cars, and the general format of racing is up for discussion. I'll see if we can get some people in on this and we can take it from there. No one is too fast or slow so it's time to give it a go.

Sidenote: I copy pasted the content from my previous post. It threw the word "sexpand" in caps in the middle of my post. I'm not sure what to make of this. Coders having a laugh?

I would, but they don't have any intention to support Linux.

Question:

If its just time trials then why the hell does their ping matter? You race locally on your PC and then post the time I assume? If you're not racing side by side then ping doesn't affect anything.

Didn't mean to include that part. That was from a post I made before multiplayer was available. We are looking to mainly do races now. Thee may be a time trial here and there but group races are the goal
