I'm biting my nails a little, even though it should come through ok. My next post will likely include the verdict, along with the identity of my new (or not) car. for now, have a Datsun 240Z.

New 5 speed tranny, original engine rebuild, new head on 85k miles. Very little rust so not too much to fix there. Oh and triple Webs.

Yeah we are in San Francisco for a while with my daughter's family, the engine rebuild is taking a little longer than expected but should be a week more or so. I got a dash cap and the rest of the interior was fixed up a bit more recently. Came with a roll bar bolted to the towers. Its a May 1971 car, the carbs were added a couple years ago and the man left it alone. New bits here and there, poly or rubber bushings being done by a Z racing expert, hes doing the whole engine. It has the slotted aluminum wheels, he wants to powder coat those black, grille too. You know how it goes, lots of little things!
