Holy shit this job is stressful, driving the truck, not that hard, keeping organized and knowing where your going without wasting time looking at the map though? Pain in the arse. Delivery drivers have soooo much shit they have to do at the same time, its ridiculous -.- Was by myself for the first time on Friday, 3 panic attacks I'd say ? The last of which induced by rain and flash floods. Driving a truck you don't know toooo well around neighborhoods you don't know at all while the sun is starting to set behind a wall of clouds, and running/driving around in flood water is scary as shit. I've been thinking back now, and I know I made some mistakes, hopefully I don't get yelled at on Tuesday -.- at least I'm only 4 days in, so things can only get better..hopefully

Ouch! That sounds hard. I'm guessing that the folks in charge of you will pardon those mistakes.
I'd be most worried about the blind spots. Do those trucks have power steering?

Hopefully, and They don't have tooo many blind spots, just have to keep a eye on the rear end, as it is much further back, lol. And yeah, they do, I think all of my buildings do now at least, I know like 2 or 3 years ago we still had some that didn't have power steering

That's good that they've pretty much all got power steering now :)
For navigation, do they give you a grid or something to take reference of where to deliver?

You can ask for a map pretty much, lol, the route I'm learning on has main roads that help to figure out where you are at least

Haha, I'm glad that they didn't dump you in one of those tract housing communities to start. I've got a buddy who lives in one of those things down in Florida. It's block by block of identical houses. Plus they've got a "No Show" rule where you've got to park inside of your garage.

I just wish what they did give me had a grid pattern street wise..why the hell would they divert from a grid pattern other then for lakes and stuff?? O.o All these spaghetti streeted neighborhoods do is make everything confusing!
