Oh, yes, I was going to post about lasagna over here. I went all the way to New York to eat pasta.
There just aren't very many el cheapo Italian joints near me (woman cannot live on Milto's alone), so I was like, "we must find lasagna made from someone's grandma's recipe."
Okay, we went to visit Fisher-Price and eat Timbits, too, but anyway, I ended up stuffing my face at Jerlando's in Watkins Glen. 'Twas good. The review said to get the garlic knots, and they came out swimming in garlic butter. Om nom nom nom nom.
Then I found out that CraigO's—a small local chain that one of my friends liked, but isn't really close to Puffenhausen—will deliver to Ye Olde Day Jobbe.
Thus, MORE LASAGNA. And not in some kind of fancy alfredo/bacon/mushroom/veggie/bleh/whatever form, either. Just...lasagna. With meaty meat and gooey cheese.
Also, please send more Timbits. Thanks in advance.

I was about to say that your lead picture looks like a restaurant in my hometown but it couldn't be, then I read that it IS said restaurant. Im assuming you came up for either a Porsche weekend or ChumpCar? Watkins is also secretly filled with a bunch of old Italian families, such as my own, if you're ever back I highly recommend Scuteri's on 4th St.

Went to go check out the NARRA weekend a couple weeks ago. I wish I'd have stayed for Chump, though. That track looks FANTASTIC.

Ah nice! I was basically raised and live at that track, its just about the greatest thing ever. You should come again for a HPDE, nothing beats driving a world class track.

Yeah, everything north/central is pretty much a) pricey b) really good chef-based restaurants that fancy everything up, but aren't really what I'm looking for when I need "Italian food" c) only pizza and sammiches or d) Milto's. Milto's is Greek/Italian and pretty decent, but again, woman cannot live on Milto's alone.

Those garlic knots look amazing, but when it comes to lasagna I make my own.

If you ever visit again there is a rrestaurant called Lasagna you should try. My girlfriend put me on, they've got 2 locations and the Shrimp and Scallop Lasagna is amazing.

Ooh, no. That's super north (even Whataburger Wednesdays are a bit long for a lunch run), but do they do pasta, too?

They do! Apparently no one on yelp has tried it though.
It's where I get my lasagna fix since I live on Mcneil. Used to be Milto's when I lived in west campus. Not sure which I prefer. Need to do more delicious research.
