This is such bullshit. I'm trying to get an insurance quote for a 1969 Chrysler and most of these online forms only go back 15 years with no option to go back past the '90's. Ontario hates the automobile.

does Hagarty do Canada? I have my '73 LeSabre and '54 MG with them and it's very reasonable.

I'll look into it. Do you have your cars on classic/antique limited use insurance or "regular" coverage?

Hagarty only does classic cars or collectibles. When you apply you can fill out how you use the cars. Neitherof mine are registered with antique plates because the state charges more for that and restricts usage. With Hagarty I checked off that I occaisionally use them for just about anything. That way I can still drive them to work on a nice day or do whatever. The states Antique plates are much more restrictive! (Thanks Massachusetts!)

Edit for more info - Hagarty wants to know if you plan to DD the car. I don't DD them but use them occasionally for anything. I also have stated values on their replacement.

So I talked to Hagerty and they seem great and affordable but they have a minimum driver age of 26! I'm 23 so I can't use them. The search continues...

ooh that does make it much harder. Unfortunately you aren't going to find much anything affordable until 26. Good to know they will cover Canada though!
