I just don't understand the fascination. I mean, I understand why having 8 lugs is stronger than 5 or 6, and if you're rock crawling, having locking beads is nice, but seriously, what's up with all those bolts?
It's a pretty sweet looking RV, though, even if it does have a wine cabinet (?) But man, those wheels...

I imagine a non-gear-head buying this, getting a flat, and then struggling to remove every one of those bolts on the side of the highway somewhere. Man that'd be funny.

There's no way average joe could even lift that wheel/tire! I swear the stock wheel/tire on our 2011 Suburban must weigh 60+ each and they're nothing like that haha

It's an F550, so it has 10 wheel lugs instead of 8 lugs that an F250 or F350 has.
As for the other bolts, I'm honestly not sure what their purpose is. The outer set are beadlocks I suppose. I know that this type of wheel is common on military and SWAT trucks, many of which are based on the F550 chassis. I presume they used the same wheels & tires because that's the style and/or function they're going after.

Double beadlock setup for the outer and inner bead. Most people wont ever throw an inner bead but hey why not I guess. You could run zero psi with that many bolts, average is usually 24-39 bolts. So pretty much bolts can break, you an run lower psi, and you've got both beads covered. Military beadlocks are a lot cheaper to buy and convert than what's available aftermarket so they're not too uncommon.

What, you haven't seen that? It's Ford's special 42 lug system. They needed something strong enough to bench press a planet
It's the Goku of lug patterns.

It could be a double beadlock system that is running innertubes. I dunno that was just a random thought. But I have no idea why there are three rings of lugs, other than the inner is to bolt the wheel to the hub and then the outer is to be a bead lock for the tire and I have no real fucking clue about why there is a ring in the middle of those two.

Yep, I knew they were military-spec just couldn't think of what vehicle they came from.
