I'd rock an A4 Quattro. Probably blue, red, or black with a tan interior (must).

I only wish we got the diesel A4 in the US. Audi might throw it in the next gen A4.

Considering how fucking amazing the 328d is doing on gas so far, I see no reason why they don't.

remember, the 328d comes at with a MSRP premium. You really need to keep the car long term in order to make the MPG savings work for you. Im averaging 35mpg at 70mph in my gas 328i.

Black on tan. Its my personal favorite color combo on most cars, especially the German ones.

I'm wondering if MB will throw a diesel in the new C class for USA as well. What's the MPG on your 328d?

My dad used to have a black/tan 95 S320... LOVED that combo.

To be honest with you I don't we're going to keep it long enough for that to happen (it's leased), but the figures are pretty satisfying.

We're getting high 40s so far with highway miles, will probably reach into the 50s soon. And at our local station diesel is cheaper than premium!

i totally understand. I truthfully don't understand why BMW put a premium price on the diesel. they should have run the route MB did and make their diesel the cheapest of the model line. The E250 Bluetec starts at a lower price point than the E350 despite having the exact same interior and contenting.

Prius MPG is pretty much identical, though ours is a 2010 and 64k miles. However, last time I drove it I did 61 mpg.

Then I went back to my car the next day... 15! :D

Yup, my Dad had a first gen X5 with that combo. I guarente he would have gotten his 5 series he had before in it too if he didnt get such a good deal on the used one he got.

Yep, makes a lot more sense. This way Americans will actually start to adopt it.

I can't lie, the tan interior was not an insignificant part of why I got a 435i instead of an S5. I loved the tan in my old A4 as well.

Insert "So your mom likes the d" joke here :D

Seriously though, if you wrote a whole post about your mom liking the D about the 328 it would be legendary...(maybe even get FP'd)

I'd do that, but she hates the seat. She hates it so much that my dad is taking it and giving her the Merc. This will be a post SOON.
