It was "meh" and the ending was super rushed. The way they worked the Green Goblin into it was a ridiculous Deus Ex Machine (I really hope I used that right) and Spider Man himself was too much like Deadpool.

It wasn't a deus ex machina, but it was bloody stupid. I did quite like the film, though, overall. The action scenes were absolutely great; they did a brilliant job of capturing the essence of Spider-Man just bein' Spider-Man. It's everything else that's the problem.

Yeah, as far as action flicks go it was great, and I laughed pretty hard at how Electrode (that was his name, right?) shot electricity accompanied with dubstep. As soon as he fired his first big lightning bolt with a big "WUUUB WUUUB" in the background I laughed harder than I should have. Thank god the theatre was mostly empty.
