I'm not usually a fan of Ford trucks, but I would happily drive this.

Don't think it's coming cheap though. That's a lot of money, but I bet there's rebates out the ass on these since a new model is right around the corner.

One minor complaint about Ford's online configurator: you can't download pictures of your customized vehicle. Like I said, minor complaint.

I have always wanted a truck, purely because of their utility. But my God they are expensive. Even used! Around here, a ten-year-old Silverado or F-150 with over 100,000 miles is still like fifteen grand.

wow, $50k. Fifty thousand. Granted it is a 6.2 and what not but can you imagine a nearly thousand dollar payment for an F150? Am I just that out of touch?

Even 90s Silverados are going for close to $6k with around 120k on the clock. They hold their value too well! I guess that makes them a good investment firsthand though.

I think I sat in the black crew cab they had at the auto show for almost an hour. None of electronics even worked, I just though it was awesome to be sitting in a truck like my dad's that built like that from the factory. It's so commanding.

with 9% tax (South Dakota) it's almost exactly $60k, or about $1,000/mo for 60 mos.

that's not factoring in loan interest, which varies from super low to "hahahaha, maybe in 7 years" for student loan burdened folks like me.

A 2WD, 5.7L Hemi equipped ram sport. Give me the short, 2 person cab and give me the short bed! I'll gladly take wheelspin in the wet and my mates in the bed over practicality and usability!

Mine would also have a modestly built trans, to back up the blower I'd be tossing on to that hemi, and some bigger brakes to slow 'er down! suspensions not neccecary for straightline speed!

Also, best part about it? it's $34K, so I'd have about $16K left over from not getting the ford to make it HAUL

My roommate has a 2011 FX4, it's really nice. I think he only paid like $35k new for it though, I don't know why this one is so expensive. I don't think he has the 6.2 and he was able to use xplan.

My dad ordered his Flex in November of '09. As it was a factory ordered car, it didn't get there until the end of December. That month, there was at least 6 inches of snow on the ground every day, because it was snowing about an inch or two a day mostly nonstop. The dealer gave us a brand new 2010 F-15o Platinum crew cab, in black, as our long-term loaner. It had the 5.0 and 4x4, and it was unstoppable in that snow. But inside, it was like a new Lincoln Navigator. I have never thought of myself as a truck person, but that was an awesome one, and I would gladly DD it. Apart from the visibility, and the maneuverability, and the gas mileage. And the fact that we must be the only family in the entire state of Nebraska without any real use for a pickup.

I'd personally, if I had to get a truck, would get a Ram Express 4x4 Quad Cab. Optioned out with every option except RamBox and Back-Up Camera, and trailer brake control it came out to $38,270. I could make it cheaper by losing some options I don't really need.

I'd take a stripped out STX model over and FX4. The STX can stay in the 20s if you don't go nuts on options.

The express is cool too, I just like the little touches that make the sport THE sport. No doubt that the express is a great truck too, I just don't like crew cab trucks as much as I do single cab ones
