Before you see these pictures, here's a semi-brief disclaimer. Y'all on the West coast and in Texas and Colorado and pretty much everywhere that isn't here get some variation of the "Cars and Coffee" shows on the weekends. At these shows, a huge variety of cars show up, cars of every price range, nationality, and type. But I don't in a massive costal metropolitan area. I live in the Midwest, in the wonderful city of Omaha. It's a city, not a town, but it isn't huge. And while there are plenty of people down here with plenty of money (not just Buffet, but the guy who's probably our next governor is also a billionaire), it is a town of much more restraint than LA, or Dallas, or anywhere else big. There are no Rolls-Royce, Bugattis, Lambos, or Paganis, not because no one can afford them, but because that's not the culture. If you want a really fancy car in Omaha, you buy an RS Audi, M BMW, AMG Mercedes, or a Porsche. There are a few Bentleys and Ferraris around town, but they are the exception.

One of each also happened to be at this show, which is otherwise mostly composed of every sort of modified American car you can think of, and some ricers. It is held every Wednesday evening in the summer, and is about a 50/50 mix of legitimately cool old stuff and newer cars and bro-trucks with varying degrees of tacky modifications and license plates like "600HP RT" and "UL LOSE". The following pictures are of the former.

Terrible pic, but still, a Ford Capri!

Kinja'd!!!

Some sort of Shelby Daytona (the 80's Dodge, not the 60's racer) in showroom condition.

A fairly Orlove-proof bug, I think.

It was about a 1970-75 Porsche 911, and those are factory wheels.
