Maybe people would respect motorcyclists more if they didn't hang out two feet off the back bumper of a Camry doing 65-70 in a 55 while passing a semi that is in the right lane going considerably slower.
Maybe.
You earned that middle finger, sir. Scoff all you want.

Harley guy? Or sport bike? Or none of the above...

I'm convinced that riding a motorbike with proper defensive techniques is actually pretty safe. It's just all the fucking idiots who give it a reputation for being dangerous.

Could also be a supermoto guy, those dudes are insane.

A guy on a Harley got all pissy at me earlier when I honked at him because he was doing 20 in a 30 zone. I would've been okay if he didn't keep dropping the bike in neutral and revving it, just cause.

Sportbike. Guy flipped open his visor, slowed down, and tried to motion me to pull over, maybe to engage n some fisticuffs. I just shook my head, he smiled, and motored on. Lesson not learned.

That's not the usual scenario, though.
Usually it's two Camry-ish vehicles driving side-by-side at roughly the same speed.
Or one Camry-ish vehicle driving 1mph faster than the semi it's passing with a line of 20 cars behind it.

+ all the 1s.
He even took a peek between the semi and me, like he was thinking of lane splitting, which isn't legal and our lanes weren't quite as wide as where it is legal.

BRO, it's a HARLEY, BRO. It's like, CARBED, BRO, got to keep the REVS UP BRO, it might DIE BRO, loud pipes save lives, BRO.

It's the TRD badge. Makes mine fasterer.

I don't give two fucks BRO. Get your HARLEY up to speed, BRO. Or buy a bike from this century, BROOOO.

At that speed, it's not called lane-splitting any more. It's called organ donation.

You guys are all so stereotypical. 99% of riders do not do that crap. That is like saying that the few ricers that are A-holes are typical of all drivers of those.

Haha, I'm a sportbike fan. Love the crap out of them, (Even though my bike is a standard) But I do have to say. You've got to ride smart, and don't try to start shit.

Depends on the car. Lowered Honda with a fartcan? Probably driving like an ass. BMW? Every last one of em.

It's only a stereotype if its true, remember.

If it wasn't for the tailgating, the guy would have gotten a pass from me. You wanna to 70+ in a 55 during rush hour? On a bike?? Go for it. Just don't hang on my ass trying to intimidate me to move faster.

I tend to lump them all together. I know you drive a Camry, and I do not put you in that category. I also do not put all riders in the category.

Nor do I, I know some very safe riders. As I commented to someone else, the guy would have gotten a fair pass by me, had he not gotten so close to my bumper I could see what color his eyes were behind his visor.

Agreed, tailgating on anything with two wheels is a terrible idea.

Agree.
