I have those occasionally. So how about a map (since we all love maps SO MUCH!) showing us where all the racetracks are?
I am not just talking about the major ones like Laguna Seca and VIR, but even the smaller, local type race tracks. Si Bueno?

Like a Google Maps type thing that shows racetracks?

Yupp. one that can be interacted with so you can zoom into your local or wherever you may be going and see proximity to tracks.

+1 this idea

That would be awesome. Call it Trackfinder or something, and make is free.

What's wrong with google? Shows everything I knew of in the Detroit area.

Nothing. this would just be more easier.

It's free for everyone except you.

Fixed that. I've also made some layers so that we can organize tracks by region. You want to make the post introducing it to Oppo since you made the last one?

DAMNIT.......Hooow about free for me, and slightly discounted off regular price for others?
![]() 05/20/2014 at 16:12 |

No, it's gotta be called RaceTracker.

No. Now you pay double!

Jesus, I'm a moron. Fixed.

Yay! Of course, what do we do about the east coast?

We've run into a problem: can only do three layers without buying "pro". May have to ditch the layers idea, or at least ditch it for regions.
![]() 05/20/2014 at 16:19 |

Ahh, damn. Could do one layer of major tracks and another of ones nobody has ever heard about. Or just no layers. :P

Crap. How about you pay me to download?
![]() 05/20/2014 at 16:23 |

Depends on what you're downloading.

Haha, we're going to have layers, damnit! Came up with a three-region system that I think will work. It'll help break up the list at the very list.

Let me put it this way; I will not be downloading "Karma Sutra for beginners."
NSFW if you don't know.

Layers aren't working as planned. Everytime I place a point it defaults to South, so I have to click back into the region it should be, then I place another point, and it defaults back to south, so if I forget to click out, the point goes into the wrong region.

Thunderhill and Sonoma raceway added. if we can add what kind of track it is and if they have a websiete that would be cool too.
![]() 05/20/2014 at 17:25 |
|
Yeah, I was noticing that. A bit of a pain in the ass. The biggest issue with that being that you can't freely move points between layers. Might need to nix the layers idea.

If you add the actual google data point it should pull the website with it, but for those that don't have a data point that's a great idea.
