So I've been trying to figure out Aces' MPGs. Grimace never did better than 14 MPGs, and that was only when I babied the hell out of it. I also need to figure this out because my fuel gauge isn't working correctly (I ran out of gas at my co-worker's shop during the u-joint fiasco).

So even with this monstrosity under the hood:

I managed to pull 20.2 MPG out of Aces. That's a mix of city/highway (normally 65mph+) I'm pretty pleased with it.

Is that due to the ITBs?

Edit: Looks like Fuelly has some old Celicas - two 76s, a 77, and an 82

You mean the trumpets on the carbs?

It's a combination of the motor being bored .30 over, the 44mm side drafts, oversized valves, 20R head on the 22R block, & advanced timing (I'm at about 15° BTD)

I meant the individual carbs lol. I'm stuck on fuel injection and the picture of a miata w/ individual throttle bodies lol.
