I was driving down the highway yesterday and noticed this 1996 (I think) Chevy Malibu, like the one pictured above. The first thing that caught my eye was the hideous... bulges around the license plate. I mean, what purpose do they serve? Surely they're not for style. Anyways, what's the worst designed (mass produced) car you always see on the road?

if I'm not mistaken the frame bumper protrusions (sounds close enough) are there for light impacts. Yes either way they look god awful.

Personally factory fake air vents, brake cooler vents, etc are terrible.

that doesn't even annoy me.. the way the trunk is sitting so the lights don't line up properly is what's really grinding my gears.

I think this is one of the worst new designed cars. The rear just looks SO long and of such an unagile bastard.

I hate it. And I hate the fact that it is the 3rd best sold car in Mexico... I have to see it ALL the time.

Worst designed car...

Aztek is always the answer.

Scion xB and Honda Element and Nissan Cube because anyone can draw a box (especially an asymmetrical one) and throw it on top of some wheels.
