I know you guys have missed me(probably not, I'm hardly a fixture here). Been super busy these last few weeks, but lots of nifty things involving cars have happened, and I plan to finish the ULTRASUPERMEGA post that I've been working on that touches on all of them, I promise it'll be good(well maybe not good, but at least mildly entertaining). Until that happens, enjoy an Alfa 164, one of the cars recent added to my 'to buy' list!

+1 for the gorgeous 164 posted. It's not on my 'must own' list, but if an affordable one comes up at the right time I'd definitely buy it.

There was a relatively clean one, 'in need of a head gasket' for $1200 about 6 hours away, if I wasn't knee deep in so many other things I definitely would have made the drive to check it out.

I don't think I've ever researched what a head-gasket takes on Arese V6s. I can't imagine it's a massive amount of work though, although I feel you with the knee-deep-in-projects thing.

Luckily I like it that way :)
