And the want is strong. I've sat in the F-Type Convertible in the past and oddly it didn't have the same effect on me.

I like it so much that currently I would have a F-Type R Coupe over any other car ever made; that is, if I couldn't sell the car. In that case, I'd have a Ferrari 250 GTO, brag to the world about having it, then sell it, buy a F-Type R Coupe, a Range Rooney (because why not?), a nice ass house, and spend the rest of my days being a bad ass villain.

The noise alone is worth it but when you add that gorgeous rear end, I'm smitten. The want is very strong over here too

Right now, yes. Go to your nearest dealership that has one and sit in it; it's life changing.

Hell naw, that's like going for a swim an a shark exhibit covered in chum. I'd probably leave broke, broken and driving a Jaguar.

Good to know. I'm still waiting on my local dealership to get their R coupe in.

But look what you can get for $60K!

I thought you'd like this 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage on AutoTrader.com.

Not bad.. But I think you anyone can justify spending $40k more on the F-Type R Coupe ;-). I'm sure the F-Type R Coupe will also depreciate that much in a few years time.

Maybe once the MT version of the Jag comes out then I'll be swayed :)

You know it could be your second car!

What if they hit $40K in 4 years?

We'll all need to get a loan for one!

Wait....so? We knew this was coming. GT3 is better!

Yeah but this is still cool!

Especially because it came sooner than I thought. I thought Porsche would wait until the 991 was about to be replaced before releasing the GTS.

This is the best 911 with back seats for taking future toddlers out.

I dunno, the Targa sounds more useful for keeping children entertained.

The Targa is the most useless model in their range!

Expensive, AWD only, just as heavy as the Cabrio

I no gusta the Targa at all...

I know, but if children are involved....what am I saying! I'd MUCH rather have the GTS.

Ah, I see!

Yeah the open top would help entertain the children. But so would going VERY VERY VERY fast in the GTS, haha

Would rather have used DB9 though.

Totally a better value!

I've driven the 997 for the last 3 days and it's really made me realize how everyone has things wrong.

A lot of Opponauts have more than one car. And a lot of them have only manuals.

I think if you really want to enjoy the manual the best thing you can do is have at least one car that's got flappy paddles. When the 997 was my only car I got so used to driving stick that it wasn't special anymore. And in traffic it was a chore.

But when you don't drive stick everyday the days you do drive it are awesome. Just puttering around town feels like an adventure.

I only have one car, and it's a manual!

Kinja'd!!! Manuél Ferrari > Brian Silvestro
05/19/2014 at 15:01

Kinja'd!!!0

That's OK though!

When you only have one it should be a manual, especially when you're in college and not commuting in bad traffic to work.

But if you keep it and buy another car then it might be kind of cool to get a Cayman GT4 with PDK :)

Kinja'd!!! Brian Silvestro > Manuél Ferrari

Kinja'd!!!1

I have a feeling they're only going to offer the GT4 with a PDK, like the GT3.
