Lol most HANS devices cost as much as this car. And he'd really want a Snell Rated Auto helmet. DOT rated motorcycle helmets don't have fireproof liners.

Lol, no problem. Actually before I forget there are motorcycle Snell Ratings and Auto Snell Ratings. I've made sure to get Snell Helmet, I don't want my head to get set on fire in my hooptie ass race car.

yeah, precisely my thoughts. I do have family in Australia, where they were far more popular, perhaps bringing axles over in their carry on is a possibility. Hell, its only the 3 cylinder version, how big can the engine even be, just have them bring me a whole replacement just in case :P

my father is quite the frequent traveler, of the sort where the airlines do nice things for you, excess baggage is no issue :P
