I love that this picture encompasses pretty much all of my stereotypes of ANZAC motorsports.

I love that one of the stodginess racing teams out there was started by an engineer racer who could have a good time and painted his cars orange. That would be McLaren. Brabham always had that smirk. You knew so,etching was going on.

I have to say, the racers from the post-war era into the early 70's are what gave me the impression that anything can be driven well if driven properly.

I think Schumacher, Prost and Alonso have that, but you are right, drive the car like it needs to be driven and you will be rewarded.
