!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I'm fairly pleased with how we performed. Our goal at the beginning of the year was top 25 at Michigan, and I'll be damned, but we got 26th. We got hurt by off the track penalties in endurance, which would have bumped us up to probably 25th. For a fat car (450 pound single) and a young team, I'm very happy with our result and am optimistic for the future. I'll post some pictures and videos later.

From what I read on Twitter, GFR blew everyone away not unlike FSG 2013. Can't wait for the European season to start!

I wouldn't say the blew everyone away. Obviously an incredible car, but both Stuttgart (best sounding car at comp, also the smoothest looking one on the track) and Munich looked almost as strong.

I found the lack of coverage from the SAE a bit weird, compared to both the major comps I've been to (UK and Germany), there was no pictures, times or any sort of commentary. What about trackside? The German cars at Michigan are all from last year so have probably had a ton of testing and driver experience done. Hawks sus failure was interesting as it failed in Italy last year too.

Yea it's odd, but I feel like the competitions are bigger and have more public interest in Europe. For whatever reason, FSAE seems to have very little interest in the US, despite the exciting (though understandably not true wheel-to-wheel) racing, and the fact that the competition is producing the future engineers of the country.

Once I get pics uploaded, I'll post them up. I definitely didn't take too many pictures (just a few fuzzy ones during endurance, I was busy with our car), but someone on the team did.

Damn, looks like my alma mater's car broke before autocross. Placed 83rd. Tough brake.

My alma mater finished in 79th. Looks like they didn't finish the endurance, as we never do. I'm going to have to talk to some friends and hear how it all went.

Seems like we peaked my year. We finished all events and came away with 44th. We didn't do great at any one event, except Acceleration where we got 19th.

Damn, 12th place. Expected more from Missouri S&T this year, but we actually finished endurance this time! More annoyed that KU finished ahead of us, though.
