My car has a weird parking brake. It's where you'd expect a clutch to be, and in order to activate it you push it down. Fair enough, but you have to stomp on it a second time just to get it to release. This is good for holding a car in place, but not so good for doing sweet parking brake turns, yo. My solution? Defeat the ratchet with kitchen items and a socket wrench.
