Just got this video of Colonel Bud Day getting one more ride in his favorite airplane, the F-100. Pretty cool.
Wasn't the F-100 the airplane that John Boyd spent a lot of time in as an instructor?

I don't mind that rich people want to fix up old planes (toys) and burn holes in the sky, and I'm impressed that someone refurbished a Century Series bird, but I can't stand that they wrap the activity in supposed 'honor' of veterans. What a load of crap! This is no more than people that want to play with military hardware and want to convince others that they are doing something noble. Oh, and maybe you will feel all patriotic and give them some cash, because - veteran.
