Probably overpriced...but if they draw in some of the more aggressive design elements for the next gen...oh snap.

Pretty is not the word I'd used to describe it, or any other 370Z.

The bottom lines are bit fussy, but I think the progressive return to a more S30 look will be beneficial. The Z is iconic like a Mustang or a Jeep, but certain cues NEED to be pushed more to maintain that look. I don't want to see the next one going all Z31 on us (shudder).

Haha long hood, fender flares, rear-sloping greenhouse, wheels that fill out the wells, aero that is functional-ish?

Compared to the 350, it is a big improvement. Its not a Z32, but then again the Z32 wasn't the S30...I'd say this has more in common with the former the first gen (which is fine in my book).

The big issue is the price and the VQ needs a revamp.

WAY too busy, looks like a catfish, droopy nose, ugly headlights, droopy rear deck, ugly tail lights. Nope, I've never found it attractive. And I'm a former Nissan owner who still loves Nissans.

vq needs to go!

Or a factory forged bottom end and a linear boost supercharger

I'd say a turbo 4 (280-300 hp) and a detuned VR-TT (400-something) would be a great coverage of the market and would pull some folks away from the new Mustang. Pulling in the first gen style elements and make it light, you will have old enthusiasts and new ones all over it.

NOOOO, THEY DONE GONE FUCKED UP!!!! I don't like it, and for me the current 370z would be one of my dream mid life crisis cars. Me saying they fucked up to me is a big thing. Maybe I will like it once I see it in person, maybe they will change it a little more before it debuts. The little air vent on the front bumper is all wrong from this angle, the way the red pieces flow into the grill is wrong, and the way the led running lights stick out of the car is wrong to me too. BUT THEM WHEELS THOUGH! Now those fucking wheels on the current gen gismo *GIANT MOAN* *BIG ORGASM*

Hey, since this is out, would they push the price on the older ones even further down when this is real eased and at dealers? Or do you think they will leave it at the low 29,990 that they have the current gen price at right now, and make the new one the same price as a the old ones when they first started.

Assuming there are still a few on lots...my guess is that most dealers wouldn't buy the new one til the sell the old. So perhaps a minor discount (couple grand)?

couldn't agree more.

God a 370z super light with a turbo 4 up front instead of the lump 6...

Well if this were the case a few months ago, the 370 would've been cheaper than my accord, and I totally would've been driving around in one right now.
