The 1st new 2014 Ikarus bus was put into service today. It is an all Hungarian made bus and the Ikarus brand has been around for a long time ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! )
I am not sure on specifiactions and stuff. Amongst all the other buses here in Hungary (MAN, Mercedes, RABA-Volvo, Volvo, VanHull, and others I'm forgetting) it is nice to see a new Hungarian Bus. Even though the Mercedes Citaro is my favorite.

These are still around, but not as nice as in the picture. Usually sagging and much shittier.

Strange they keep those buses that long. The oldest public transportation buses I see are those Mercedes Citaro ones you pictured.

As a kid I loved the smell of exhaust fumes from those vibrating, always overcrowded, people in doors trapping, loud machines. Greetings from Poland:)
