Two wheels might be bad in some circles but when it comes to custom choppers I'm all against it. In my mind it looks like the same crap, at least the Harley based customs; however, were I to do a chopper, it would be like this. Real Aircraft engine parts. Not a Harley in sight.
In there is a 3129cc V-twin. Cylinders from a Continental W-670 radial. (The kind of engine used on the Boeing Stearman) That's 95 cubic inches per cylinder. My Idea was a single cylinder from an R-2800 out of a B-17, and supercharged but this will work just fine in my book. I can only find one video of it running:
And that's it. I would imagine it sits as a museum piece and rarely ridden. After two years of building, including a hand built crankcase, that might tempt me to never risk it.
