I think the Vue is going to end up being part of the ignition switch recall.

Kinja'd!!!

Yesterday I was trying to start it after I got gas and it wouldn't do anything. I tried starting it 6 or 7 times, then I took the key out, put it back in, and it started. I was driving home and the car shut off. Popped it in neutral and restarted it and then got home just fine. It started for my mom fine today and she got out to work alright.

This isn't the first time it's shut off either. It happened a few times to my mom while driving.

And a couple times the car has started and ran fine, but none of the gauges or anything electronic turned on inside the car.

Something's wonky with the ignition.

the equinox ignition is wonky and has been for a few years, key won't turn sometimes, and others its like if it doesn't get spark, or no gas, and I have to give it some gas and it starts. Its way worse when its cold outside.

We even had the ignition cylinder in column replaced & a new key a few years ago, and its acting up again.

Sounds more like an immobilizer issue than a direct ignition issue.

There's this thing called the body control module that known to fuck up on Saturns, I guess that might be kind of an immobilizer?

My mom wants to take it in and have it looked at, but if they change the ignition and it's the same as the old one, it's just going to screw up again like yours.
