Driving in my Alfa Spider the other day I had the first hot girl say she lied my car. She was in the process of putting her top back on as she did so. It was glorious.

Even more evidence I need to get my Fiat going again.. That, and talk my friend Bob into letting me revive one of his Alfa Giuletta Spiders...

I love Coupling, it was the British version of Friends with implied sex and full of innuendoes. Of all the drivel that gets repeated on tv, I've never seen this repeated.

I know, and it makes me sad, too. This, Top Gear and Doctor Who are evidence that the Brits know good tele.

As a Brit, thank you I appreciate that. Just watched an episode of the U.S. Coupling, its almost word for word the same with one or two reference differences. The Turkish or Greek (not sure exactly) version is mind blowing and low budget.

Sigh.... I'd like to take exception to that remark. Like to anyway.

Damn. One day I was driving in an area known for bars...and a girl with her frieds yeled out "Nice cavalier" as I pulled up to the stop sign. Hell....yeah.

oh man, haven't seen coupling in ages! I thought it was hilarious. I mostly was able to watch it when I got BBC 1+2 while I lived in the Netherlands.

It's amazing how well, "hey my name is ____, what's yours?" works. From there on it gets trickier though.

I've still got my boxset of Series 1-4 sitting on the shelf. Its the only thing I can watch again and again without getting bored.

You mean you don't have to establish your alpha cred by beating up another dude and trying to subtly insult her to bring down her confidence?? Crazy!

Another great show I watched all seasons of in very short order was How Not to Live Your Life. Was hilarious!

subtle insults actually do work. Also approaching the relationship like you don't give a shit makes her want you more. To a point. I've found this out in relationships I don't care about.

Me theory is though, if you can be nice to her and she sticks around, then she's probably a keeper.

All apologies to your dates, but I'm thinking manipulation probably isn't the basis for a sound relationship :P

Hahaha, I'm not that much of a dick most of the time, I've just realized, the relationships I treated as though I didn't care about them, those girls tried the hardest to stay in a relationship with me.

The one's that I wanted to be in, a lot of the time, didn't work out.

But when where you act that you want to be in it and she does the same, that's when it works out the best. Haha. Those are the rare ones, lol.

Currently I am in one that best fits my first example, unfortunately.

Unfortunately I think that first one says more about the individuals you're dating than the population at large :/

Haha, I think it's all about the balance of interest, if the scale tips too far one way or the other, one of the two in the relationship is going to be in that situation.

It's not like it happens to me often though... Mostly I cut it off because I realize I am not going to be interested. But once in a while I don't realize that till it's further on into things.

You should check out London Irish and Sirens on Channel 4s internet channel '4oD'.

You'll pee yourself laughing.

I wear none! Lol. I actually do not put on deodorant, I'm not a very sweaty person, at all. If I want to smell nice I do wear cologne though.

Girls are always flabbergasted when I inform them I never wear it and then comment, well I haven't noticed you being smelly, so I guess you are right not to.
