I was leavin work, and a salesmen approaches me after I punched out begging me to look a car he wants to buy for the store, I almost declined until he told me what it was....a 2008 BMW M5.
Immediately i got the biggest grin on my face, asked for the keys and where the car was. He pointed me outside to its location, and handed me a key fob saying "Please don't go crazy...."
The car was black on black on black. It was the "auto" which was spooky to drive....
I put the car in drive, drove it into the shop and put it up on the lift, looking it over for basic stuff, the salesmen walked over and asked how it was. "Needs rear tires, and rear brakes, other than that looks good, just gotta test drive it"
His face went sort of pale as he nervously asked "Really?"
I replied "Well yeah, I mean its a part of the check list.....Even if it wasn't, its a FUCKING BMW M5!"
He walked away as I grinned ear to ear climbing into the car, pressing the start button, using the computer to put the car in the "Batshit mode"
After defeating all of the computers, placing the trans in sport mode, suspension in race, and adjusting everything past 10, I coasted out of the shop out to the main road. Pulled off, turned right, and rolled at a slow pace to the first light where a Civic awaited me. He looked over, nodded, and then stared ahead at the light while I was preoccupied in the car dancing around like an idiot with excitement.
Poking all the buttons, messing with the paddles, revvign it up.
The light went green, anxiously I stepped on the gaspedal, it revved, then lurched forward. The civic took off from the light and chirped his tires as he peeled away. Not wanting to be "The kid who was beat by a Civic" I stomped on the loud pedal as the engine reved to redline, and I snapped on the right paddle to grab the next gear as the car burbled into the next gear and peeled away. Feeling comfortable with my lead I shifted up a few more gears as I approaced another light.
The light turned red as I came up to it, so I pressed the brakes, slowed down, and started down shifting it and OH MY GOD THAT NOISE WAS BEAUTIFUL.
Excited to get on the highway I starred at the Red glowing light, begging it to change.
After what seemed like weeks of waiting it finally changed. Without hesitation I accelerated away, passing other cars on the highway, so many looks as I cruised past them.
Soon I returned to the dealership, reluctantly I handed the keys to the salesman, telling him, no begging him, to buy this car so I could take it again, potentially for a weekend.
Unfortuantely no deal was made that day, the customer didn't want to drop the price 1100$ totalling 33.900$....this would have been a check issued to him by the way....
Honestly, if I had the money, I woulda gotten that car, that night....it was in beautiful condition.
No pics as I didn't want to have the customer mad at me. And I had a dealer plate on the car, not the customers plates.

That V10 just screams. I was revving it in the shop...to...err....check the exhaust? and it was amazing.

Yes it's very important to check that exhaust for potential holes in the muffler or pipes. You were just doing your job :D

The salesman was not happy at all with me....especially cause he heard me gooing WOT on the road, the customer was inside looking at the other cars we had, but when I got back I was greeted with the salesman standing there sternly looking at me as I laughed at him.

I've said it before here, but my real position is "used car inspector"
I check over trade ins, and auction cars to see if they are worth the work or what.
I see everything from Aveos to this.
