I guess that means to expect mine shortly after a couple of people get up on stage and have a crowd of strangers clap in honor of their "magnificence" and buying "the future."
Ugh. This probably means the local dealer will have an Apple launch style "clap as they leave" delivery event. Despite my choice of cars, I'm personally low-key and introverted, things like this seem ludicrous, boastful, and pretentious to me. Just let me show up, sign the paperwork, and drive off.

Some very nasty pit vipers disguised as human family members told me as a child that introverts (like I was and would eventually become) have no ability at all to garner happiness and success. "What kind of job are you going to get with behavior like that? Sweeping the floors at Burger King? And you can forget about women acting like that because they're not going to settle. They want a REAL man."
I don't have an extended family anymore, is what I'm trying to say.

With any luck they don't publicize it too much, and it'll just be dealership staff. In a perfect world...you pick the car up immediately after PDI, then can take it home and do a fresh delivery detail (it's amazing how much crap a clay bar can pull out of a brand new car fresh off the truck).
Or you can go break it in on some twisties. Either one really.
