No classes this summer, all I have is a job. and 16 hours of free time a day. Goal is to lose 40lbs by the end of summer. Can I do it? I don't know. Doesn't hurt to try though. Then I will be one sexy motherf'er. Why should you care? I don't know. Moar Mercedes Benz Judd V8 goodness!

Do it, and yes you can. Cycle your carbohydrates and mix cardio with weight training.

Cardio doesn't have to be boring. I do trail-running, which is a heck of a lot of fun, at least for me. Good luck!

Yes, you can. My senior year of high school I started trying to lose weight about a month before prom started. Started really watching what I ate (1500-1800 calories per day was my target) and, most importantly, began running 2.5-3 miles 5-7 times a week. I hated running as much as the next person when I started, but I've grown to enjoy it as a nice way to relieve some stress, zone out, and listen to music. Very therapeutic.

In short, I went from 180 lbs. to just a hair over 130 lbs. over the course of 3 months. It was a pretty drastic change, but it really wasn't an overly arduous task. I stayed around 140 through the first year or two of college and then crept up to 150 as I started drinking more, although 150 is probably my target healthy weight. Currently (5-6 years since I first lost the wight) at about 157, which really isn't too bad considering that I'm working a full-time job which involves equal parts sitting at a desk, eating, and drinking booze.

First f*cking moment you open your eyes in the morning do simple circuts...jumping jacks, pushups, situps sh*t like that. Then shower maybe.

+1 meal replacement shake (yeah, you should) n any small effort you do along with that will get you where you want to go in a hurry.

I believe in you, bitch!

find a Heat Treating Factory to work in. The weight will litteraly melt off. Or sweat off. Either way it will be gone.

I do basically walk /stand for 8 hours a day for 6 days a week, so there is that.

I like the idea of the waking up and doing exercise part. I can definitely do that.

As for the replacement shake. . . I don't know about that, I kind of suck at making anything food related.

Man you are a lightweight!!! In highschool I used to weigh 200lbs and the was nearly perfect for me. I lost 10 more pounds and that was the sweet spot. I am now 230lbs and I really don't like it. Gotta get it back down to my super sexy self.

I have to start enjoying exercise. Gaining weight is a really easy process for me if I don't watch what I eat(which I don't)...

As long as there is no AC you should be good.

I am indeed. I'm 6' tall, too. 135 was an insane weight for me, but 150-155 is about right. I don't lift weights at all, so all of my exercise comes via running, which doesn't help that case. I'd be 175-180 with any kind of real muscle mass on me.

I'm in the same boat on having to watch what I eat. Shit, if I skip a day or two in a row of running then I can feel a difference in my weight. It's especially frustrating to have friends who can eat and drink whatever they want and not put on any kind of significant weight, even two and three years removed from college.

Ditto which is why I needed one for lunch because I suck at making healthy food, even salads but that shit is essential unless you want ass cancer.

I'll admit all the shakes and bars worth your money taste horrible and probably always will, I've tried them all. I found I like Raw meal , though I'm not vegan it is, with a bunch of sprouts n plant sh*t, probiotic sh*t and vegan protien and even though it usually has the consistency of thick snot and tastes like pond scum, it makes me feel full for 6 hours and gives me energy which is really all that matters. I mix it with flax or almond milk.

Before that it was at least 2 cans of tuna and like 6 eggs per day, which worked one summer n got me bodybuilder magazine shoulders but I'm pretty sure mercury poisoning has driven me at least partially insane.

Anyhoo it was mostly the morning stuff plus whatever add'l workout 3 times a week destroyed my jelly rolls n gave me my first flat stomach (and sides) since...ever, in under 2 months
