Michael Krumm is employed by Nissan as a racing driver, principally in Japan's Super GT Championship. Fortunately (for him), he also gets to travel the world and have a go in other races. Like Le Mans. And the mighty Nürburgring 24 hours (or N24 if you're too kühl für schüle).
Last year, he raced with Kazunori Yamauchi (of Polyphony Digital/Gran Turismo fame) in a privately-entered Nissan GT-R GT3. The following video is his 3rd lap in the car. Despite his unfamiliarity with the car (and the track, despite him being very German), and the rather opaque fog over much of the course, he set the 2nd fastest time in that session, and was confident of pole if they'd been able to slap on a new set of slick tyres.
