No I actually work in IT lol
first few hours of work is nothing nothing nothing then all of a sudden 1 major thing breaks and BAM its a fire drill

Ah, I would have zero experience with dat IT life. Although you probably have to deal with the same idiots everyday.
I basically have only worked in retail. It sucks, don't do it. The managers suck, the customers suck, everything sucks. Only a few more years though then I can graduate!!

Yesterday. Fuck yesterday. Took a build for a teammate. Usually they're under 2.5 hours. The onsite tech had no idea what a rack and stack is and I had to walk him through it, step by step.
I also asked him to unplug the ethernet cable from the old server's iLO and plug it in to NIC1 on the new server. A few minutes of mumbling later (seriously could not understand the guy) and the whole network goes down. WHOOOOOPS! Hi5
