Since apparently the sedan is a dying car class, I want to know what Oppo's favorite sedan is.

I'll have a CTS please. V-Sport preferably.

Best sedan GM has ever made, hands down.

I agree the CTS-V is great but just to be different I'll take the RS7. To me if it has four doors it's a sedan.

I'm actually a little sad when the sedan is declared a dying breed. I'm a sedan type of guy, been driving one for most of my life.

As for favorite, well I have a couple.

EDIT: Kinja ate the pics. I have an ATS, a 300 SRT and a Legacy GT Spec-B.

I actually came close to a Spec-B GT the last time I was in the market for a car, the dealer won't meet me in my price range and my car trade value, so I had to walk away.

The S8 is great, but an S63 killer needs to be made. Slap some twin-turbos on that W12 and throw it in a short wheelbase A8. Or get an Aventador V12 in there somehow.

Definitely. My mom had the previous gen IS250 which being a 3500lb car with only 205hp, wasn't exactly the most exciting thing around but it drove okay. Lexus really seems more serious about standing out with their newest offerings and I'm glad.

While I admit it could do with a replacing, it is still the nicest car in the world. It looks unbelievably classy and dignified (and huge) and the interior is probably nicer than the inside of the owner's actual mansion.

Yes. The new CTS V for me, the electric will cancel out the gas guzzling of the new V, but if it turns out like the corvette, it should be pretty fuel efficient!

That's my point. If sedan/hatchbacks were an option, my answer would've been the Audi A7 instead of the A6, but it's not technically a sedan . Liftbacks like the Model S, A7, and Panamera, along with 4-door "coupes" are kind of helping to kill the old fashioned sedan.

It's amazing the kind of fuel efficiency GM has gotten out of an "barbarically old" OHV V8 design. I'm pretty sure the Corvette is getting about the same economy numbers as my mom's V6 Vue.

If it is something I could actually afford.......I'd go with a Subaru WRX STI. Could I afford a 35k car? Yeah, but I always pay cash for my cars and since I just bought a new Elantra 2 months ago.....my new car fund is pretty close to being empty.

so the Audi was at a disadvantage there but still won. So in conditions here it would beat it by even more. I don;;t know if that sways me one way or the other. I love the sound of the Audi but the Tesla is cool because of all its tech stuff The Audi looks better, the Tesla's got a freakin frunk!!!
