Sometimes I take for granted the job I do, the people who I help by keeping their cars on the road... and in a small way, I keep them informed about staying safe, and alive.
Without getting into too much detail, we repair cars for a company that does crash testing for the NHTSA.
Sometimes we get to see the cars before they are "tested". Like this one. Poor thing. But, it gave its life to be tested to see how well it can save YOUR life. If you buy one. 5-stars, front and side impact. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Right now there is a 2014 Mazda6 in our shop. Same thing's getting done to it. I wonder if this one will get the pole, the wall, or the T-bone.
The last one we did before the CX-5 was years ago.... This CX-7 got the wall. Also, poor thing... 'twas a loaded Grand Touring.

No. They go to the great big salvage yard in the sky I imagine.

I wish I could watch.... or just visit the facility. Mythbusters did some testing there, they have a huge amount of paved and unpaved track.
