How I spent my second day of vacation. Suspension is done, I saved about $1,000 doing it all and not paying labor. Before and after shots below.
Before:
After:
#STANCENATION BRAH.
The exhaust is next. Possibly Saturday.

Boston Green really changes based on lighting/potato effects.

Hey, if you need any parts, let me know. I have whole car here just collecting dust. Also, M3 stuff I didn't use.

Well done! I wish I had had time to do mine, oh well. What was the drop? 25?

Damn must have done one hell of a job, altering the light spectrum like that.

The only things I could use would be a tan, heated, power, vinyl driver's seat and a tan armrest.
Possibly some new side mirror glass, that damn browning damage.

O-H....

33 mm, thats an odd drop. I went up by double that at 50. Looks like a lot more up than you went down though...

It's the Eibach pro-kit.

This shows the world in balance. For every car thats lifted, one must be dropped.

What part?

Are they in good shape and how far are you from Cincinnati?

I was in the Dayton/Spingfield area. Left last April, now in South Dakota.

I really like those headlights. And Boston Green.
Why is this the first time I've seen this car!?

I don't know, I've posted pictures before.

Maybe I just don't pay enough attention.
This reminded me that I need to take a picture of GF's dad's E36 so you all can see just how factory fresh this thing looks.

Just from what you posted, let me guess; Fairborn.

I'm thinking about doing Snowmobile Jr.'s suspension replacement. How difficult, on a general scale of one to GODDAMN CAR is suspension replacement?

lol yup. My wife and I went to Wright State and she has family in that area. She wasn't active duty at Wright Patt yet, but we were still in that area.

Depends on the car, if you have the tools and the books then it isn't so bad as long as the rust and corrosion aren't set in. In all, it took me about 2 days (about 16 hours-ish) to do the front and rear struts, shocks, and springs.

They're in great shape. I'm in New Jersey.

Those yellow fogs aren't stock, are they?
![]() 05/13/2014 at 19:46 |
|
No, the original ones were cracked, so I replaced them with the yellow projectors.

I once owned a car that was an aqua green/blue colour, it was painful in daylight, but at night and on cloudy days was a truly pleasing colour
![]() 05/13/2014 at 20:32 |

Mine goes from a blueish green to very green to British racing green to black.

If shipping wasn't so prohibitive, I'd take you up on that offer, but I'll keep looking locally, and I should stop putting money into this car.
![]() 05/13/2014 at 22:43 |

Shipping shouldn't be more than 100 bucks.

Fuck, so tempting, bank account so drained.

Drive over here and I'll give you the parts due to the sheer effort.
