Now to avoid buying anything till I go full time (next week :D) and make some of the money I've spent in the last year back..Then buy a LSD and some coil overs...
^Not mine, but my color and wheels I'm getting (RPF1's). They are ordered but not on the car yet as they should be here next week :P

Deets? 19s? What size tires?
Here is pretty much exactly how I want mine. 19x9.5/10.5 +12 I think. 245/35 and 275/35. Stock height!!!!
Looks mean don't it???? Same color + year and everything.

Wait, 350z's don't normally come with LSD's?

Normally, yes, unless you buy the base model. However most people go after base models because they tend to weigh less, and the stock LSD in the non base models isn't all that great, so if you're going to be driving on tracks or drifting, it's better to get a aftermarket one either way...mine is a base, so it's a open diff atm

Nice! God help me, but I'm thinking about buying another set of wheels and tires for my Z, too. It's getting difficult to find streetable track tires in the size I have on there now. Where'd you find the wheels? Local private seller, local dealer, or volume-dealing 'net page?

18's, didn't want to add weight with 19's, 18x9.5 +15 on all 4 corners, and 265/40/18 Michellin Pilot Super Sports all around as well. Might at some point put some 10.5 wides on the rear, or 10.5's all the way around if need be. Will post pictures of mine when I get it set up :)

Ooooo your stability control is gonna hate you, ABS might not work as well.... computer likes staggered setups
Anyways this will look good, def post some pics

some Z's ran squares out the factory though, and I don't need ABS ;) And It already doesn't have traction control or VDC to worry about :P

also, staggered=under steer

I might have to try that. One of the Discount Tire shops in our area has a deal with our club for discounts, and apparently doesn't give people funny looks when spec-ing zero-backspace 4-on-4.5 wheels for old RWD setups.

All Zs run staggered stock.... but I forgot some don't have VDC, and yea if no ABS then you are good to go. Car is nose heavy so even with a square setup it will still push a little bit but that is not a bad thing. I can get the tail to come out on stock size tires....

Nuh, Z's with the Touring V1 wheels ran a 18×8 30mm offset square set up from the factory. And yeah, I've heard that squaring them up helps alot more then you'd think, I'll be able to tune more once I get some coil overs of course, lol. And like I said, might end up changing things up once I start adding some power. I can get the tail out a little bit, but the open diff holds me back quite a bit

But the tires were staggered still, the main issue with squared up Z's is just the VDC, ABS doesnt like it to much but its alot easier to deal with then the VDC, and I dont have VDC, so no worries there really :)

I have a Touring V1... the wheels are square, but the stock tires are 225/45 and 245/45.
I like the safety of a staggered setup.... my car is bone stock and its still not very hard to get the tail out at all even in the dry. I don't even turn VSC off and it still gets a little hairy.

Yeah, realized that the tires are still staggered, lol, and it is a nice barrier, though I'm planning on canyon runs and Auto X, both of which won't be to high of speeds and I'll want to be able to get the car to rotate quicker, lol. It helps too that I'm a mile high, so I have less power to play with to kick the tail out, which is why I'll add more rubber If I add a decent amount of power.

Gotcha, gotcha. I'm down at sea level so no problems here. Surprised you didn't go with a turbo ride... Mazdaspeed Miata?

I might end up turbo'ing the Z :P and I was looking at Miata's, but wanted something with a bit of shoulder room, seeing as my other car is a VW Beetle, lol. I'd still take one if the price was right probably :P
