"A Brampton man has made his play for a place on the dumb offenders list after allegedly getting behind the wheel while drunk and then driving around honking his horn in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The man is alleged to have been speeding through a residential area near Bramalea Rd. and Bovaird Dr. around 6 a.m., honking the horn of his grey SUV and blowing through stop signs"
Peel police spokesperson Const. Lily Fitzpatrick said the police wanted to give a "big shout out" to the residents who called them, adding, "The man was in custody less than 20 minutes later."
