Tonight it's time for Rogue's Double Chocolate Stout. Why the Double Chocolate Stout? Because single chocolate stouts are for communists.
The photo does not do the bottle justice. The color is like Pepto with a dash of Hawaiian Punch mixed in.
Next up will be !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! Beaver's Milk. Had this once on nitro and is was damn tasty.

I have been looking at that one for a couple years and haven't bitten yet, I love the standard Chocolate Stout. How is the Double?

Tasty! A bit of a bite to it, though. So if you're looking for a silky smooth stout, this isn't it.

Is it a bite as in alcohol heat, a bite as in hoppy bitterness, or a bite as in an overload of malty sweetness? I'll pick it up eventually, my go-to is still darker beers even though I do get IPAs quite a bit in the last couple years.

I think it's a combination of a slight hops bite and the cocoa. Nothing like an IPA, but a bit stronger than most stouts.
