I need some help with twitter, I'd like to run several accounts simultaneously in ONE browser, not like Quicktweet where you simply switch between them, but actually have more than one open. Does anyone know how to do that?

Yes! You can have more than one account on Twitter. You can sign up for an additional account here .

Please note, each account must have a unique email address associated with it. An email address can only be associated with one Twitter account at a time.

However

You can only be logged in to one Twitter account at a time, in the same browser, if you're accessing Twitter via the web.

If you'd like to be logged in to multiple accounts at the same time, you can do so by using different browsers.

I think you can do that with HootSuite.

I know THAT :) What I need is to figure out how to run more than one in the same browser, It's a hassle to juggle between 3 browsers ;) Or two computers as I do right know. It MUST be possible, right? RIGHT? Hehe.

I usually open an incognito window with Chrome and sign into the second account.

I've never tried it, but it should be possible with using your browser's privacy mode - whatever it's called in your specific browser. It's not supposed to store any information, so Twitter shouldn't know that you're already logged in, even in the same browser.

Theoretically speaking, of course.

This sounds like the thing you're looking for... I think it only works with different windows and I haven't actually tried it out, but it's looking pretty promising

That would work, for some reason I did not think of that. Thanks :)

Another solution from lifehacker: http://lifehacker.com/231646/geek-to…

Pretty sure it doesn't work to have a different set of cookies for each individual tab. Private mode is apossibility, but I am pretty sure you would still have to open individual windows..

Since it's an issue with how Twitter is managing cookies, you'd either have to have some kind of elaborate hack/plugin in place (multiple parallel cookies in the same operating session: wut), or to have them only in the same browser by technicality - i.e. having a normal instance and one in private mode (separate, temporary cookies). Really, the best way would be for you to have a server running multiple instances somehow and producing an intermediate page with inline content from all - which (since I don't know) is probably like what some of these services are doing.

Turns out I can use Hootsuite. But now you've got me thinking, I could use my Linux Server, and run that in a window on my secondary screen, that way I could have all my social media in one window. You sir, are a genius. :)
