Once we got past the fact that Indy can not do standing starts, it was ok.

They need to get their act together on standing starts because standing starts are awesome. As for the rest of the race I actually found it underwhelming compared to the other 3 races of the year. The whole race went to crap because of the yellows in the middle of the race. I'm a Penske fan and the drive-thru Montoya got wasn't punishment enough.

I liked it. Good race overall, especially when the lead cars don't lap almost the entire grid lol. That GP circuit rules.

I did not see the standing start as a bad thing. Just the fact that the pole sitter could not get moving and caused a pretty bad incident for several drivers. C'mon, it's Montoya. You should have expected that.

Yellows breed yellows. First half of the race was green. 2nd half started with 3 consecutive yellows. Ruined the on track race and made it a pit strategy/conservation race.

Well, maybe next year they will have it sorted out.

I think the track could have produced a good race there's no doubt about it. This one just wasn't up to Indy Car standards.
