This thing could take down many bigger cars on the street. Hell it would give a C7 vette a run for its money! (Mod list at the end)

Yes, but how will it stack up against a nitrous-burning scooter?

Car really moves out! 12.5's isn't C7 territory though.

if I remember right the C7 was good for 12.4's, did someone post a faster time?

Comparing this car to a C7 made me laugh way too hard.

You are off by a second. I was at a track rental where two temp tag C7s were running 11.4-11.7s all day long. Very boring and uneventful but dead consistent.

I've never seen a mag post that time, I mean motortrend posted a 12.2 with a Z51 car.
I'm not saying mags are the benchmark I've seen plenty of people run faster than what journalists publish but I have no way of knowing what bob and ted half way across the country are doing in their C7's on a weekend.
12.5 is still faster than a 5.0 mustang or camaro SS so theirs that.

they have about the same level of build quality so its not to far off
http://gmauthority.com/blog/2013/08/c… (12.39 in the 1/4) I'm sure putting this car up against your average chain wearing corvette owner on a weekend track day and this little ST will catch the best of many Vettes.

It was Atco Raceway right before they closed for the season (cold out) so that's worth a few tenths. But a 12.2 is loafy.

isn't ATCO one of those freak tracks? I ran a 12.1 in my car at E town last fall when it was 50 out. Track prep sucked ass or I could have probably hit an 11.9 after I pulled 100lbs out of my truck.
So much for being half way across the country lol

Now comparing an "average vette driver" to an experienced ST track goer! At the end of the day you're still in a Fiesta that has a bunch of money dumped into it.

I dunno man. I think it may have to do with wheelspin or something. I was not expecting to see these times out of the cars but they were at it all day long. Drivers were regular joes.

I didn't know someone driving an ST was automatically an experienced track goer. I'd still give bigger props to the guy who made his eco box run with a vette. That takes more skill than buying an already fast car and taking on some chrome to win trophys at the local car show.

Yup. Stock Michelins. The cars were not modded.

wow thats pretty impressive considering the slowest 1/4 time I heard from a journalist was a 12.8. I bet it wont be long til this car hits high 10's on slicks only

What's wrong with a Fiesta that has a bunch of money dumped into it?

It's not a Corvette, duh.
