Or similar, while in Nova Scotia... any requests? Can I get an accurate breakdown as to how much caffeine will be required to keep me awake while piloting said rental appliance?

With a rental, never be gentle.

There isn't enough caffeine on the planet. I fell asleep and damn near died at the wheel writing this .

About 9 grams of pure caffeine per hour should do.

Oh god, I'm sorry man. I had a Corolla rental for three days when my car was in the body shop a few months ago. Those three days were the only time I've ever actively avoided driving anywhere because I dreaded every second of it.
If you can, turn off the traction control and floor it. It's about the only fun part of that car.

I'll have something setup intravenously, I'm taking the right precautions.

Hmm, my vacation looks to be very un-jalop and full of naps... I need to reflect on my life decisions.

Don't worry, the hoon is strong with this one.

Good. You want to keep it below a lethal dose, but enough to stay alert. It's a fine line in a 'Rolla.

When you get to the rental counter, ask for a Fiesta. Or a Fiat 500. Much better rentals than the Corolla. I go for a Fiesta just about every time.
