BMW should've tried to find a better way to hide the muffler, from here it looks sloppy.
Other than that I actually think it's rather nice.

I'm not a huge fan of the entire rear end. That bits choppy, but especially the muffler. That looks way too giant.

The later Vues do that same thing, albeit not as drastic.
It spans almost the entire rear bumper too.

Ah yes a staple of NYC.
As far as the muffler it makes the car look cheap and it's not found on any other car in BMW's line up.

BMW is just throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks. At least this one had 2 working brake lights, I saw a 435i convertible today and it's right rear brake light wasn't turning on at all.

I just don't understand why it needs to be so f-ing huge. It doesn't do much in the way of sound deadening, trust me.

Yeah, I hate it when manufacturers leave very exposed bits, such as the Cadillac Srxs gas tank.
