That's right a brown diesel 6 speed wagon ( well 5 door hatch, close enough). Originally I was planning and hoping for an Alfa, but now I'm thinking I 've got the better car.

How was it? I drove the DS3 and it was nice other than overly light steering.

Why isn't Alfa the default answer?

it's a decent car, I prefer the ds3. The strange thing about this car is that the rear windows can't be opened

I want to be in europe in a car.

How's getting in and out of the rear? I've heard that it's a bit tricky, since there's a lip.

Should have rented this.

When I was in Italy, my wife and I had a 6 speed Opel Insignia Wagon with the diesel (fully loaded). It wasn't brown but 3/4 isn't bad IMHO. I would buy that car in a heart beat if they sold it here in the US.

Cool. I say, if in Europe, drive European - something you can't drive at home.
If I went to the US (hope that's gonna happen sometime in the not so distant future), I wouldn't want to rent a Corolla or a Jetta.

In Munich my dad ended up with a Škoda Citgo. When asked how it was, he replied "interesting. Weird driving a 5 speed sewing machine."

Hah, cool! Those DS4's are really far and few between here in northern Europe, a shame really, I actually like them a lot. Were you hoping for a Giulietta?

I used to live not far from where that picture was taken

whatever you rent, it will be the fastest damn car in the world.

I'm sure you know this, but you used to live in a beautiful area.

yeah shaved seen a lot of newer Citroens so far . I picked a "Guilietta or something similar" in a more perfect world I would have gotten a 159.

I'm not 100% sure where you are, but the Mainz tags and the Rheinstrasse sign make me think you're at one of the small riverside towns between Mainz and the Kuhkopf area. I graduated high school in Wiesbaden, lived in Darmstadt.
