Kinja'd!!!

The value of this car should be negative.

KBB's usual over-priced valuation is only $1,700 in excellent condition with 50,000 miles.

This particular 1997 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has 46,900 miles and it's sorry owner is asking $4,250.

I'm not sure what makes me more mad...that someone paid full price for this, or that no one has lit all of them on fire yet.

They finally got the Catera right in 2001, its final year. I like these cars more than I should.

German engineering yo :p

I saw one a few days ago while I was getting my van inspected. They would've worked as anything but a Cadillac I feel. But hey, this gave us the CTS to it did something good in it's miserable life.

I couldn't see this as anything really, maybe a Saturn.

It could've worked as a Chevy or a Pontiac. MAYBE a Buick.

I don't think it could've worked as anything. The only appealing thing any of those said brands had was reliability and cost to own. The Opel was none of that haha.

Anything RWD always sounds good, but so does communism.

isn't the catera chassis the one that the gto was eventually built on? My buddy owns a very nice gto and he's told me he kinda wants to get a catera as a DD just for laughs and to have the full spectrum in his garage.

my friend has the Pontiac version. Though by then the catera had fled our shores, moved to Australia, lost two doors, gained 200hp and eventually moved back, changing its name to "GTO"
